Pietersite crystallizers in the form of masses, the fibrous structures is the result of jasper & asbestos's inclusions.
Pietersite was discovered by Sid Pieters in Namibia in 1962.
It is believed only Namibia can found Pietersite; Until 1993, smalll amount of similar stones was found at Hunan China, those stones are released in the market only at 1997. The mine was closed since then. Since the amount of Pietersite from Namibia was limited, which make Pietersite a rare kind of stone.
